Have Your Parcel Collected – Skip the Trip to the Drop-off Point
Anyone who sends parcels regularly knows the problem: your parcel is packed and ready, but travelling to the drop-off point takes time – and with heavy or bulky shipments, it is often impractical. The alternative is collection: the driver comes to you, collects the shipment and introduces it directly into the network.
Via versandrechner.de, you can book collection in the same step as your shipment. Simply enter the dimensions and weight, select the rate, specify the collection address – and you're done. There's no need to call the parcel carrier separately; generate your shipping label online and simply attach it to the parcel.
Collections take place on working days from Monday to Friday. Saturday collection is not available. A lead time applies to every booking: you can see directly during booking how quickly a collection can be arranged at your address – this depends on the postcode, carrier and time of day.

How to Book a Collection

Select address and preferred time slot. Available dates are shown immediately.
Attach label
Print the shipping label and affix it clearly visible before the driver arrives.
On-site handover
The driver collects the shipment. From then on, you can track everything via tracking.
Parcel Collection or Freight Collection?
The distinction determines both the price and the process. With parcel collection, the regular courier collects during their scheduled route. This is cost-effective and straightforward, but only applies within standard parcel limits: up to 31.5 kg and up to approx. 120 × 60 × 60 cm.
With freight collection, a lorry arrives. This is the solution for anything too heavy, too large or too unwieldy for standard parcel delivery – furniture, machinery parts, sets of tyres, palletised goods. Here, you should clarify in advance how the goods will be loaded onto the vehicle: without a ramp or forklift, a tail lift is required, which you can book during checkout.
You do not need to figure out the right option yourself. If your measurements exceed standard parcel limits, the calculator automatically suggests freight shipping. For individual items exceeding standard parcel dimensions, it is also worth looking into bulky goods shipping, or pallet shipping for stacked cargo.
